Calendar FAQs (Calendar page functionality)

Q1. What does this calendar feature do?
The ActiveCiti calendar keeps all your events in one place. This includes the events that you have created and also the ones that you have been invited to.
The entire list can then be further sorted by your response to the event (whether you are attending it, not attending, haven't replied or are tentative).

Q2. What do all these icons mean?
The icons are used to make use of the space very effectively and provide you with maximum information possible. Hovering your cursor over the icons for a couple of seconds will show what they mean. However, a legend of what the icons mean is given below:

Q3. When does an event show up on the calendar?
An event shows up on the calendar when you create it or are invited to one.
Past events are also shown on the calendar. However, cancelled events are not shown at all.
If you had been invited to a particular event and then removed (or the event gets cancelled) so that you are no longer invited, the event will no longer show in the calendar.

Q4. What happens when an event gets cancelled?
When an event gets cancelled, the event will no longer show on your calendar.
For more information on what happens when an event gets cancelled, click here.

Q5. Some events do not get listed on the calendar page. Why?
If you are sure that there was an event before and it no longer shows on your calendar, either of the following things could have happened:
  • The event has been cancelled (or you have been removed from it). In this case, there is nothing you can do and the event will not show.
  • The event does not fall in the date range that you have selected below. Please expand the range below and hit the "Go" button again.

Q6. I just want to see the events that I have not replied to, how can I do that?
You can organise the calendar view by the clicking on the images above.
Clicking on the "Not Replied" button with the orange icon will show you only those events which you have not replied to.
